This game won't run due to a missing dplay.dll, although it runs fine on Windows XP. |

If you search for the dplay.dll on the internet you can download it and put it in your windows directory. It should run in Vista after that. |

The generic dplay.dll was very helpful. It's working great in Vista Business right now. |

once the Dplay.dll file was unzipped and placed into the Windows folder (directory) i had to adjust the color to 16bit instead of 32 bit. seems to work good after that. |

Problem: Installer never started (Autorun prog sdid start). Solution: Copied all files by hand to a CD; Problem: Orioncd.ini missing; Solution copied by hand from a XP-System. Used above mentioned dplay.dll -Y works very fine under "Windows Vista home basic, 64 bit Edition". (Geez - what a long product name) |

If you using windows vista and it's not working use DosBox. Then use DosBox to run orion2.exe (not orion95.exe). You won't need any dplay.dll stuff. |
