With a Linux 2.6 kernel, Direct PCI access must be used. If trying to boot from a kernel with 'Any' or MMConfig access mode, the option 'pci=nommconf' needs to be appended. This is particularly useful trying to boot things like Ubuntu liveCDs. For 2.6 drivers, it uses forcedeth, sata_nv, ohci_hcd, ehci_hcd, nForce2_smbus, AMD_IDE, pcieport-driver, and snd_intel8x0 (CK804). I haven't tested the RAID options or the Silicon Image SATA controller. |
