I managed to make this motherboard work with kernel 2.6.16 on Gentoo. main problems are : you need to unplug you computer FROM THE WALL not only switch it off to have the ethernet working if you booted XP before. http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-406635-postdays-0-postorder-asc-start-25.html sound is working (I can use XMMS to listen to my MP3s) but not all applications are happy with it. May be I didn't use the right modules, or maybe it will be solved in the next ALSA/Kernel version. graphics chipset is working, glxgears runs at 1450 fps. sata seems to be working but I don't have sata disks. a huge thread is here : http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=57791 here are the loaded modules: Module Size Used by snd_pcm_oss 47968 0 snd_mixer_oss 16704 1 snd_pcm_oss snd_hda_intel 16280 5 snd_hda_codec 139648 1 snd_hda_intel snd_pcm 81864 4 snd_pcm_oss,snd_hda_intel,snd_hda_codec snd_timer 22088 2 snd_pcm snd_page_alloc 10640 2 snd_hda_intel,snd_pcm nvidia 4854320 12 forcedeth 23364 0
