There is no driver for the built-in SD card reader. As far as I know, no one is currently working on such a driver. I really miss that slot! All other hardware on this machine works perfectly. I haven't tried the pcmcia slot yet, though. I had to manually load the i8k module to get fan speed control to work. Just add the it to /etc/modules and it will be loaded on boot. To enable automatic fan control, also make sure that the flag --auto is appended to the variable I8KMON_ARGS in /etc/init.d/i8kmon: ----- I8KMON_ARGS="--daemon --auto" ----- The WLAN works just fine "out-of-the-box". I you want proper 3d acceleration, I recommend installing the linux-restricted-modules-686 package and use the "fglrx" driver, instead of the open-source "ati" driver. |
