Installed with admin rights on Vista Home Premium. Couldn't use compatability mode for any other o.s. Would always ask for cd even though cd was in drive. Runs fine after setting to "always run as admin". Vista drivers suck so far.. Slower than Xp by far. Nvidia might start losing gaming ground if they dont shape up.. |

OK, kindof hard to distinguish between EA crashes and OS crashes, but here is what I see different between SP_32 and XP_64: Occasional crash to desktop (even without VOIP). Enabling VOIP makes BF2142 puke, and puke HARD! Turn it off!! QoS should be uninstalled entirely if you actually want to play BF2142 on XP_64. Sometimes the system will begin to thrash and use swap regardless of swap size and settings. This causes mid-action freezes, and being dropped from the servers. |
